Chris Dalton — Principal

Chris started his legal career at Allens in Sydney, where he gained considerable experience in both mergers and acquisitions and commercial litigation. He later joined the corporate advisory team at Gilbert + Tobin where he developed a targeted skill set working on high profile projects and transactions in the energy and resources sector, and was also heavily involved in the associated private equity and capital markets deals. His corporate advisory focus has since expanded to include commercial property, employment law and financial services, and in addition to general advisory and transactional work he advises on a number of litigious and non-litigious commercial disputes. He works very closely with a panel of experienced barristers and has developed a diverse client base which includes investment houses, entrepreneurs, large scale developers, major private property owners, listed entities and high net worth individuals.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Public Policy (with Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh.
